Who Am I? Friday Introductions…

 

Today I realized that I have never really introduced myself to the 5 people who look at this blog. So, here goes my first ever Friday Introduction!

I want to be madly and obsessively in love with what I will be madly and obsessively in love with a bagillion years from now: Jesus Christ. My hearts desire for my life is to make much of Christ and to spread the sweet aroma of His love throughout the world, whether that is through my physical self going to the nations or discipling and spiritually mothering those who do. The aroma of His love is also deliciously fragrant by means of my marriage to my husband, Mr. Saylor. He’s my bearded lover, familiar, and companion in this life. We currently reside in Florence, Kentucky where we lead a small college ministry through our local church. It has been where I have found God’s promise to me in Isaiah 54 in the midst of my barrenness fulfilled in the sweetest way. My husband is currently attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for his masters, and I get to join him while taking a few wives classes for those entering into the ministry. I also teach 4th grade math and science in the inner city of Cincinnati.

I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a writer. Writing has never been a strong suite of mine, but I have found that my love of poetry and creating rhyming sentences to make sense out of life is my niche.
